True offerings. Quietly delivered.
Veredos is a small, privately-funded company in London. We build infrastructure that keeps property compliant, certificates filed, and tenants safe — and we connect that infrastructure to a network of engineers we have personally interviewed.
We picked a name that does a job rather than a name that markets. The two Latin halves quietly say what we sell.
True. Genuine. Vetted.
Gift. Offering. Service.
Together: the true offering. A verified service. We expect to earn the name every day with how we vet engineers, how we handle data, and how we treat the landlords and tenants who depend on us getting compliance right.
Four principles. Quietly load-bearing.
Trust before scale
We onboard slower than competitors so the network stays real. Every engineer we list is one we'd put in our own home.
Hyperlocal, not nationwide
Density beats reach. Going deep in five boroughs serves landlords better than spreading thin across the UK.
Boring done well
Compliance is unglamorous. That's the point. We sweat the details — renewal arithmetic, certificate parsing, audit trails — so nobody else has to.
Pricing that's clean
One transparent platform fee. No paid-placement tier. No auction format. The engineers who do the work properly rise.
Compliance failures are now business failures.
In the last decade, the rulebook governing the private rented sector in England has roughly doubled. Mandatory and additional HMO licensing schemes have proliferated borough by borough. The Housing Act penalties have been redrawn. Awaab's Law brought fixed-time hazard remediation into the mainstream PRS. The Renters' Rights Act reshaped the deposit and notice landscape.
The tooling, meanwhile, hasn't moved. Most agents and landlords still run compliance on a mix of spreadsheets, inherited CRM modules and Google Calendar reminders. Most engineers spend half their days hunting for the next job, and the other half emailing PDFs to landlords who don't always reply.
We started Veredos because we believe one thing about all of this: the people doing the work properly — the conscientious landlord, the principled letting agent, the qualified engineer — deserve software that respects their time. The rest of this is detail.
We answer our own emails.
